Creating a Secure Password - Hints and Tips
New Password Phrase Example
- Start with a memorable phrase or a combination of words. For example, “BrightSky”.
- Uppercase Letter: Ensure at least one letter is uppercase. In our example, “B” is already uppercase.
- Lowercase Letter: Ensure at least one letter is lowercase. In our example, “BrightSky” contains lowercase letters.
- Symbol: Add a symbol to the end of the phrase. For example, “BrightSky!”.
- Number: Add a number to the end of the phrase. For example, “12BrightSkys^_^”.
- Ensure the total length is a minimum of 12 characters. If the phrase is too long, consider abbreviating or removing some characters. If it’s too short, add more characters or symbols.
